In these days of increasing crime, it is understandable that people are concerned about the security of both their possessions and their property, whether private or business.
However by adopting some simple and effective security precautions you can deter and discourage burglars and ensure added protection for you home, family and property.
Below is a small checklist of effective devices which can be fitted to give that security to either Offices, Shop, Factory, Workshops, Garages, Homes
Front Door: should have a 5 or 7 lever mortice lock; a door chain and door viewer should be considered for added security.
Side & Back Doors: should have a 5 or 7 lever mortice lock fitted; with the additional top and bottom door bolts.
Ground Floor Windows: being the most common point of entry, window locks should be fitted on all ground floor windows.
Upstairs windows: particular attention should be paid to any windows accessible from a flat roof, drainpipe etc. All vulnerable windows should be fitted with a window lock.
French Windows & Patio Doors: should all have top and bottom locks.
Outbuildings: Sheds & Garages often hold expensive equipment and tools and should be secured by mortise locks or a padlock, ensuring that the screws etc. are not accessible from the outside.
Security Lighting: Passive and infrared lighting which is activated by movement offers a great deterrent to a burglar as well as offering lighting for the owner. These should be fitted to cover at least the front and rear of the building.
Offices, Workshops, Hotels, Restaurants, Entertainment Buildings etc.: All the above apply with various Fire Exit locks and furniture, as assessed by our qualified staff.
